| Our first family photo in Morgan park |
Every year we have a family tradition of going to a Park in Morgan ,Utah to take fun family photos. Now we don't always just stop there for pictures, but we do take some photos in the park. This park is part of our healing process I guess you could say. It has a special meaning to us. It was the first time we really got out of the house and enjoyed time away, a break from the health concerns that Tyce had. (He nearly died of pancreatitis and later was diagnosed with Cystic fibrosis in April of 2005) After a life saving surgery at McKay Dee Hospital, he had to go to the Uof U weekly and was a guinea pig, basically. They still told us that he may not live past 30, but later was given a possibility of 50! This is why we have chosen to ENJOY THE JOURNEY... There is sooo much to tell about that...but that is not the story I am telling you, it's the story of change! This park was our escaped we took the kids in hand and we walked this park, and swung on the swing and laughed and giggled and there was these huge leaves! It was amazing that a little park with huge trees could offer such peace to us. So every year from then on in the fall we pile in the van and drive there and play and have fun and take memories! It has that quiet small town feel to it. The sad thing is this year they remodeled the park and the huge swings, that we use to swing on as high as the trees are now gone....I wanted to cry it lost a little of it's touch. But the trees are still there with their beautiful limbs reaching towards the heavens. It still offers some peace to us...just lost a little charm!
I like this I think for a first it is great! Keep going and you will get better and figure out how to do all the things you want to do. Just play around with it and have fun!
